Welcome to this new and exciting alliance between the Hawthorn Football Club and Hellyers Road Distillery which is the first Tasmanian partnership since a five year deal was struck with the State Government in 2006.
Hellyers Road Distillery is Australia's largest distiller of single malt whisky and its products are gaining recognition and growing popularity in Australian and international markets. Located in Burnie, on the north-west of Tasmania, it is rapidly becoming the whisky capital of the new world.
There are dual opportunities for all Club Members.
The "Go Hawks" single malt whisky has been created for the Hawthorn Football Club and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (view COA here) that verifies the exclusivity of the offer and confirms the individual number of the bottle purchased.
Numbering of each bottle is made when sold, so the sooner you place your order, the lower the number of your bottle. Even though President Jeff Kennett was one of the first to order, his numbers started at 51 and he will use them as a memento, gifts and to drink!
The "Go Hawks" single malt whisky is arguably one of the finest Tasmanian single malt whiskies in Australia. It's whisky made the way whisky should be made - to an original recipe, using only three original ingredients: water, barley and yeast.
These ingredients have been sourced from one of the purest and most pristine places on earth: TASMANIA. Here our water comes from rain clouds swept in from the southern oceans and our fertile environment grows produce that typifies the term "clean, green". It makes perfect sense that such a pure whisky could only come from a such a pure place.
Single malt whiskies are not all the same, and that is why we understand the significance of a single malt whisky created the original way. Hence our goal to produce an Original single malt whisky.
In fact, everything about Hellyers Road single malt whisky is Original. It's about a back-to-basics approach. Such an aptasmanian-outletsproach is reflected in the ambitions and achievements of the Hawthorn Football Club.

The "Go Hawks" Certificate is of high quality, digital production and explains the links between the ideals and aspirations of Henry Hellyer and how Coach Roy Cazaly sought to inspire tenacity and changed the Club's nickname from the Mayblooms to the Hawks.
In addition to a special "Go Hawks" Single Malt Whisky available for purchase on line, there are also complimentary privileges for all members when they visit our Interpretation Centre in Burnie, Tasmania, such as receiving a complimentary drink when visiting for the first time.
